Satyr,
"Innocent until proven guilty" is a criminal law concept, one which dates back to Roman times. We can debate its wisdom, if you like, but that discussion is entirely irrelevant to the topic at hand. Until and unless this matter reaches a criminal court -- something I find highly unlikely, given that Mr. Clinton is the sitting President -- criminal law standards **do not apply.** ( It might interest you to know that the oposite standard, a presumption of guilt in criminal matters, is applied in other countries -- France, for one. It is also worth noting that France has yet to become a repressive dictatorship, as result.)
Alas, it is all too easy to dismiss breaches of conduct, using your too-frequently misapplied reasoning. In the end, it amounts to an abdication of our right to draw logical conclusions and make factual judgements, nothing more.
You will pardon me, I trust, if I choose not to limit my powers of induction to suit your politics.
