Thanks for posting that and the other link.

Someone used to post a chart of what sectors do best during different parts of the economic cycle. My stocks usually do the best at the beginning then Buffett's do best near the end.

From that table, we have zero overlap until the very bottom with SPY. Amazing when you think about it as both of our 20 years records greatly beat the S&P 500, but with different types of stocks. I do better because I can buy meaningful positions in small and mid cap stocks while his fund is far too large to do so without becoming the market... so he'll usually just buy the company outright and lose the PE expansion I get when my bargain basement stocks (like Agilent, KEYS or LRCX) get "discovered" after they do well.
