Odin help us all if anything remotely similar to a real crisis happens. Unfortunately i live right in the middle of one of the largest urban areas in the whole whirl!

My son is a partner in a very large cattle ranch so we have access to many thousands of acres of remote land with sufficient infrastructure and supplies that we could live ok for years without outside help. Completely off the grid if need be.

The problem for us though is we are approx. 180 miles from that property. Its doubtful if we could exit the city safely, or at all, in a real crisis. We have a 4x4 ready to go but......a real dilemma.
