Thanks, I'm trying to 'game' in my head what happens to all those plans when a huge chunk of XOM's revenue just vaporized, literally over a long weekend. Other thing is that the 'selling assets' part of their plan may now turn into 'giving away assets' as the oil patch implodes. That leaves what seems to me a dramatic acceleration in borrowing if they truly leave everything in place in terms of capex and the dividend. I'm sure the financial dept's in all these companies are going to be working overtime. So far the prudent approach taken by CVX management has proven to be the correct approach. All really hinges on how far the Saudi's want to take this.
