I am definitely math challenged Kirk when you go too far into abstract equations etc--you know Einstein type stuff. However, i have a decent working knowledge of most of it. The calculations you suggest are extremely simple and easy to do. i can cipher it out quite a distance in my fool head without any trouble. My problem then is i do not view the exercise as useful. i believe 19 will be over with and virtually forgotten well before i would need a calculator to make the extensions forward--now it will be a hell of a lot longer before the damage that has already been done to the economy, and indeed society itself, is forgotten--a number of years at least--maybe never. As i have said here and elsewhere, either the powers that be are withholding vital information from the public on 19 from us OR there is something very rotten in Denmark going on. We will all know in the fullness of time (well maybe) and none of us will know in advance. PS--i am having a little trouble understanding whether you actually believe the death toll will reach the levels in you example or not--so i ask--do you?
