The problem I have with these static projections is that they do not take into account new developments like the hydroxychlorquine treatments. Some preliminary anecdotal results are showing very high rates of recovery for people in late stages of covid19. This totally changes these static projections, not to mention "eventually you saturate where everyone has been exposed" (the medical term for which I forget at the moment). Furthermore there is also some evidence that hydroxychlorquine can be taken as a prophylactic by people who are not yet infected (as done historically for malaria). I hope Teva and others who manufacture this drug are running their manufacturing flat out.
