Up until 2016, there had been a response to the consolidation of the media which was the rise of of the power of the "alt media". After Trump was elected, within a period of months, they started trying to shut down alt media as well as other dissenting influential voices from places like You Tube and Twitter where these voices could be easily accessed. .Just whom is the arbiter of truth?
