Gasoline prices are at very low levels in most of the country. Even in liberal states like Minnesota, gas is under 1.00 per gallon at some outlets. It seems we are in one of the few places where the people are still paying out the nose for fuel.

The price for a gallon of gasoline plunged to $0.80 in parts of Minnesota this week as the industry continues to grapple with the global Coronavirus pandemic.

“According to GasBuddy.com, the lowest price of gas in the state on Thursday is $0.78 a gallon in Lake City, Minnesota. Red Wing is not too far behind with $0.84 a gallon at one gas station. For some perspective, the Minnesota Historical Society has pictures from 1979 showing similar gas prices in West St. Paul,” reports CBS Minnesota.
