Surething: I don't know of any Americans that go without health care unless they choose not to go where they can get it. Most states offer free vaccinations for children but many children go without because parents don't take their children for whatever the reason. My entire career has been in the medical industry and I spend a lot of time in county hospitals that give health care to people who can't afford it. Can you help me to understand where and who it is in America don't get health care? It's not due to its unavailability. Now if you're referring to tremendously expensive procedures like heart/liver/kidney transplants...well, these are done on a limited basis for the poor-mostly children. But we could have free health care like other countries where the quality of the physicians/health care is quite questionable. You can forget many of the more esoteric operations/procedures in these countries-especially for the poor.
