| | | Bob,
Thank you so much for that very well thought out and reassuring post. I have to admit (as if it wasn't obvious) that I have a lot of anxiety about our future going forward, including my investments. Day to day I'm fine...y'all know I trade a lot, and I can make money in a bull or bear market, but I can't trade my whole account. I have to park the bulk of it into something....hopefully something that will gain in value. Your post was very calming and reassuring to me, and you also remind me that we are the greatest nation in the world, and if we can't make it, no one will.
I think I'm just old enough to not want things to change...the older we get, the more comfortable we get with the way things are, and it's scary and uncomfortable to visualize a world in which things will most like be quite different. However, as I've tried to teach my kids, and the edict I've tried to live by, is that change can be a wonderful thing. It's all in your mindset, I think.
Thank you again for taking the time to reassure me, and I promise you did. We are all going to come out of this wiser, and hopefully better as humans. Hope you have a great day...and be careful on that ladder! We need you to hang around and help us keep perspective.
Warm Regards,
Kim |
