using them in stores for awhile as we knew the government was lying about their effectiveness.

AGAIN.. we are in tune.. I said month or more back social distancing was because the powers that be fcuked up and learned nada from SARS.. and there was a shortage of PPE..

I always have an ample N95 supply due to my choice of retirement work.. enough to spread around to family too.. as an aside my son was a ski racer and hockey player, not to mention my own wounds :). I was always nursing sprains etc.. so always have rubbing alcohol in abundance to make my own cold packs .. much more pliable...

On the jobs aliens.. well locals (up here too) folks are too good for that work.. and prefer welfare.. go figure.. Something has to give.. I think we need workfare.. work get paid.. I've worked since 10.. Janitor to high end software cowboy... ALWAYS worked...

EDIT.. one of my software verticals was hospital software.. I met many healthcare consultants .. government folks and 'administrators'.. I know how they think.. I have seen it.. experienced it... This debacle US or Canadian does not surprise me...

Oh and software was not my original calling .. I fell into it.. I started at McGill in Microbiology and Immunology :)
