Despite some technical damage today, the bull trend remains in tact. But if we get a few more days like today, then we could have a sell signal, depending on how close they are to each other and how deep.

As you can see in the chart below, the stochastic has barely crossed over in the overbought region and the MACD has not crossed, but is touching. For the sell signal the stochastic needs to remain bearish and descend below the overbought region and the MACD needs to confirm it.

It seems that the futures market agrees with me, seeing how the index is up ~1%.

In the chart below, the bright green line is SPX. The thin blue line is the indicator. The stochastic and MACD apply to the indicator not to the market.
