Indeed. Also, the banks are paid a percentage of the loan to process it. It is a sliding scale but they make a ton more to process a $10M loan than a $10K loan for probably similar paperwork.

It isn't perfect but I'm glad it helps medium sized small business like yours keep going.

Some people here are raising funds to send free lunches to hospital workers and first responders. The idea is they don't have to deal with making their lunches and buying the food when they have enough to do just to work. I saw a local newscaster said she got a free lunch yesterday (from either her station or an appreciative public) and remarked about how helpful and appreciated it was.

A lot of people are pulling together just like I heard we did to win WW II so there will be a lot of great stories to share if we continue.

The sad stories make the news but my guess is most are doing fine with us all suffering one way or another... my "suffering" is so minor compared to those who lose loved ones to the disease... so I try to help despite taking some really nasty hits for it from a few clueless jerks.
