I tend to agree. The media can certainly be wrong just ask Richard Jewell. My only question is, "who gains from his demise?" I actually don't think Gore gains a thing. Sure, he could possibly be the sitting president, but his name would forever be associated with Clinton and his numerous troubled fiascos. Re-election in my opinion would be virtually impossible. Sure, the Republicans would more than likely gains some seats in the house and senate, but I pity the Republican candidate for President in the year 2000. The Rep. nominee will be raked over the coals. Everyone has skeletons, but the Dems. will certainly drag everyone out of the closet they can find on the poor Republican sap. As they say, what goes around comes around, and the Democrats will certainly have their day.
