I have a friend who voted for Trump and is a solid Republican. In her words, "Trump is not often wrong. He is just not a likable person."

If a Republican finds him distasteful, you can only imagine how Dems feel about him.

Aside from all the other issues around Trump, since he is always so eager to tell everyone how great and smart he is and since he is always taking credit for anything that goes well, then it is at least fair that he should also be blamed for everything that goes wrong.

Personally, I don't think he is wrong all the time. Nor do I think he is right. I think he is very malleable. What Trump is really great at is A/B testing. He throws in a lot of contradictory stuff and waits to see what sticks. Then he leverages that moves up, while still doing his A/B testing and switching sides as the tides turn.

He is more akin to a day-trader than a private business investor.
