I put what he said and his own delays in the beginning on him. He sends out a lot of mixed and often time idiotic messages, but so far he has not actually altered the course advised by experts. There was the weekend when he went from no problem to seven alarm fire (and multi-trillion dollar bailout).

In general, I've wanted the States to have more control for years, I have not appreciated the Fed gov't taking over everything, and they shouldn't here, either. More consistent backstopping and messaging would be good. But there is too much variation in the States' needed response to have a one-size-fits all approach. That is a good thing he's done.

But I agree, the pathology runs all over the place. Just look around on Twitter. Just a cess pool of echo chambers, everything considerate and well thought out is usually lost in the noise. Might as well change the name from Twitter to Outrage -g-
