Duncan, I think you may have lost touch of the fact that it was a CIVIL war in Viet Nam. Are you one of those people who believes that America has some sort of imperative to solve every problem in any country on earth when we decide to do that? I could give you a list of some of the totalitarian regimes that we either actively support or look the other way about, because it serves America's political needs of the moment, but the list is long, and I do not want to make the Boink Monica thread really boring. Who are you to say that my view cannot withstand analysis, anyway? This is an amusing small debate among a bunch of people whose primary interest here is their investments. Lighten up or something!!!
