Yup. I saw that article too.

Elon is selling his homes here as he wants to leave for lower tax states before cashing in his TSLA stock... and CA's only real "plan" I gather to make up for the loss of tax revenue from Covid-19 and Elon's exodus is to
  1. Increase taxes on the very rich here above the current 13.3%
  2. Elect Biden who could restore deductibility of state taxes, thus lowering taxes on the rich here so they can net-net come out about flat.
Not a bad plan from the powerful Hollywood and others to get the rich in other states to pay for our "generosity" to illegal aliens and free drugs, booze and hotel rooms for bums, er "the unhoused" I think they are called these days.
