Kirk's point about possible political changes is a good one.

An important part of the Permian is in NM. Our current state gov is pretty anti-fracking. As is typical of the greenie lib types, they are totally hypocritical about it. We are a poor state and our oil/gas revenue is critical to keeping our budget afloat. They give you this line about "we will eliminate fossil fuel harvesting as soon as we get enough revenue to replace it with renewables." I drove through wind turbine land on the way to the east side of the state the other day...over half of them were still...no wind. These people here are ignorant, arrogant, total believers in their cause and...unfortunately... in power.

I think your price point of $35 is a good one. The Saudi-Russia duo is likely to keep oil somewhere between there and $40 for sometime. Just a guess.

News on the political front is depressing these days! Just read about a shop owner in Ohio who was destroyed in the riots. She and her three employees hid in the back while her store was smashed to bits. She's trying to reopen and is being threatened. "we are going to hit you again".
