For a long time I've suggested that AIM is an "inventory control" manager for stock holders. The shares are our inventory in the Equity Warehouse. Here's an example from my own portfolio of how AIM has managed risk and done inventory control over time.

Cash reserves are up 381%, share price is up 382%. Portfolio value is up 220%, Value at risk +166%. I didn't make as much as Mr. Buynhold but I slept well and now have more cash than the entire holding including cash was worth back in 2014.

PS: this is in an IRA account.
