To all here (I'm not picking on Hawk):

I'm here as a DEC shareholder. Have mixed feelings about the merger. Feel that DEC was on its way to greatly improved earnings. OTOH, I am glad to get the quick stock vakue enjhancement from the CPQ deal. I will probably keep the CPQ stock and invest the cash in other opportunities.

Another subject: this board. Seems to have an excessive numbers of very unsubstantial postings. Soon to be ex-DECcies are thinking of starting their own thread, to raise the intellectual standard of discussion of CPQ's prospects. See:
