I hate to sound disrespectful, but.... what is so maddening to me about BS statements like that is how do you explain we have a small countries worth of people here ILLEGALLY who came with nothing but the clothes on their backs, often after spending their life savings (maybe US$8,000 I've read) to get here? OBVIOUSLY, tens of millions of NON US citizens PROVE they believe it is better to be here with NOTHING and face the wrath of ICE, police, etc. rather than stay in their home countries with all the money they could have saved paying "coyotes" for transport.
