Thanks for the name on the pickles! They were SOOOO good! I hope you have enough jalapenos for that strange but wonderful jelly that was such a surprise! I think you and Jan could win awards at county fairs with that for being both tasty and unusual.

Funny about your mother and the ferns! HP owned "Little Basin" next to "Big Basin" where I did many camping trips under the redwoods... it was my drinking days so I usually had massive headaches but it was beautiful.

Foil invasion under the Bridge between heavy smoke where the wind cleaned out the air. These guys sail just about every day they can... and get good at new things so quickly. I wish I had their windsurfing skills so it is hard to imagine how long it would take me to get good on the wing while Kevin (the tall Asian winger) just started wingdinging this year but he does windsurfing full time as a job selling gear from his house/shop and delivering it via van to customers... I believe he inherited the house a few blocks from Ocean Beach so he can live cheaply while writing off most fun and a lot of housing upkeep as business expenses. His LT GF just finished her residency so it will be interesting to see where they end up. I may take lessons from him if I take up winging...
