It is amazing how much everything, especially bonds, have made. The risk in bonds and funds like LTPZ, 21.66yr duration for only 1.57% yield, is huge... pimco.com but if the Fed really keeps buying the bonds to keep rates low while inflation rises, a whole new ball game. I'm impressed with how well my individual TIPS have done. No plan to sell as they have very nice positive real rates so great inflation hedges, along with my sizable iBond portfolio where the majority have 3% base rates! Current Rates for New & Older I Bonds
