Janice, I'm going back to the fact that he opened himself up for a harassment suit while in the WH. You need to have a disparity of power relationship in order to make a case. You're strictly looking at this as a consenting relationship between two adults (which I agree it was), but please do not lose sight of the fact that all the ingredients were there for a harassment case, something Clinton surely had to know. Distilled in the simplist terms, he's gambled the presidency for sex.

I agree with you that she is not a victim, she was of legal age. But let me tell you something, I have a very mature, beautiful and intelligent 26 year old daughter. I'm not so sure that her head couldn't be turned(sorry folks) by any advances by no less than the President of the United States with all it's trappings. There is absolutely no way anyone will ever convince me that Slick did not use his position to gain sexual favors from her. She could have walked into his office stark naked and I think the correct response from him should have been "call security", and ship her out. I mean who is really the grown up here? You honestly put a 21 year old with her limited life experience on par with a 50 year old man, father and husband? C'mon......
