i too have gas problems sometimes. they can be quite entertaining - too bad i don't take baths anymore. but, there are always elevators.

if all of these "...gates" had such merit, why has starr failed to accomplish so little in 5 years and $40 million against bill and hillary. in the rather provincal climate of small-town arkansas why wouldn't the governor know richer folks with ideas about how to make money. sounds like pretty standard politics to me. the clintons' failure to profit from any of it does strike me that criminality would be hard to prosecute.

during the last presidential campaign, when bob dole was being painted as a saint, nobody bothered to check up on the source of the $million dollar condo he had in florida. there was more than enough money floating around kansas in general and amd in particular to pay off for sympathetic votes. to pretend that only bill clinton is the the big evil sinner in washington is somewhat disingenuous. it does not look like either bill or hillary will be leaving office with the kind of extracaricular wealth made by even sophmore senators. if the legal pursuit of the clintons continues to 2000 then he could be the first president to leave office bankrupt since the 19th century.

so, i am not in the stone-him-to-death camp. the behavior of the journalistic profession during this "monica" episode has been outrageous and obscene. very difficult to find a shred of fact in the shouting by the media during the past 10 days.

can you be so certain of his offenses against this woman are as represented in the media? i am not ready to surrender to the mass hysteria.
