A professor at the Harvard Law School, who was admitted to the
Massachusetts Bar in 1937 and who has been increasingly
interested in matters of labor relations, Archibald Cox served as
chairman of the Wage Stabilization Board in 1952. More recently
he was a consultant to Senator John F. Kennedy in the preparation
of the controversial Kennedy-Ives labor bill.
