This is from the Washington Post:

Doing the Right Thing

By Walter Russell Mead

The Washington Post

There are lessons here. One will be welcome to Kenneth Starr,
laboring painfully and, so far, inconclusively in the murky
depths of the Whitewater imbroglio. Accused of political bias
by outraged Clintonites, Starr can justly point to Archibald
Cox. Not only was Nixon's chief inquisitor a former
office-holder in the Kennedy Administration, but he maintained
close personal relations with the Kennedys throughout his term
as special prosecutor, and no fewer than 10 members of that
highly partisan clan showed up at his swearing in.

That drives home my point harder than I originally did. That last sentence especially.
