Bear, I agree with you...all you have to do is look at the growth of the death tax over the past 50 years. I believe that tax started at less than 15% and has grown to a top rate of 55%! This is also the most insidious tax out there...it is double taxation at its worst! Not only do they tax every dollar you make in your lifetime, but they then tax your entire estate of post tax assets AGAIN at 55% upon your demise! These crooks should be tarred and feathered...at the very least, they need to be out of a job, in favor of a national sales tax and its accompanying benefits such as being able to get at the underground economy, and promotion of savings! $tar.
