Hello Sense, very good to know that you are well, rejuvenating. My thought be with you on the family happenings.
My parents took care of one of my paternal aunt who was also struck w/ Alzheimers and I watched at a distance whilst attending university. I know it is an all-absorbing exercise whether home-care or even nursing care, either way an exhausting rear-guard and ultimately losing fight. We do per our call of duty, is all, else no civilisation. Then we move forward.
Good again to know you are deliberating and recalibrating, perhaps returning to what you love to to do, or maybe exploring new grounds. Whatever the the case, enjoy life and living for sure. After contemplation, invite a lady to dinner. Second life started already and everyday is a new day.
We have been in HK since mid-August, after have de-camped Cape Town near end of July via Vancouver for 3 weeks. We learned a lot over the course of the year. #1 lesson was I need my weekly reflexology more than I knew, and must be in Hong Kong to get it exactly right. I am thankful to be back in HK.
The kids are coming along just wonderfully. Jack getting enthusiastic about investment He started the year w/ 10K play money, using a realtime iPad app that does paper trades (but only equities and not options as far as I know). He went as up as 14K and then down he went, to now ~9k. I am giving him a chance to make it all back and he is his own pilot within reason Message 32988472

I love Sunday lunch and daily walks, and so I did both today w/ the Jack. I took time out for a delicious nap. Jack is fun, asking a lot of questions to the point.
