I wondered what was so important for liberal this time about voting early... Especially since absentee voting is typical in most states for older people or those with jobs.... I used to argue it was stupid to give yet another wasteful paid holiday to government workers to vote when we can vote by mail... I also wondered why Republicans were so against it since they have high representation of the elderly and they have experience voting by mail and should stay home rather than risk getting Covid... Now we know.
