Janice, so far I've concluded that Lewinsky was willing to admit to the sexual affair with Clinton in her proffer to Starr because she thinks there may be some tangible evidence floating around out there that would expose her earlier sworn testimony stating she had no sexual affair with Clinton. She's hedging on the suborning(sp?) of perjury allegation because she may think it's simply a matter of he said/she said and can't be proven. The question it raises in my mind is why would she be willing to admit the affair in light of Clinton's so called denial, but not the other? Motivation? Political or othewise? bp
