Hi Kirk,

It's a big financial commitment to make and then learn it's difficult.

I think you need a buddy who can loan you an older piece of gear to try it out with.

If you get the bug, then go for some new and easier gear.

I had some old luggy wooden snow skis. Then went to Alta Utah, for some tall and steep runs. I rented top of the line parabolic ski's and instantly fell in love with the ease of turning.

I'm hoping to repeat that thrilling sport again before age precludes it.

As you've pointed out, there are some older people who prove it can be done!

I think it would be a wonderful goal to be that kind of motivating example - even if you don't do jumps and twists. <smile>

I finally completed my last batch of Salsa yesterday. eight an one half quarts, for a total of 65 -70.

My last batch I experimented with by reducing sweet peppers by half and boosting the serrano peppers - it has a stronger bite (for those who prefer more heat).

I've got your order and will be sending it soon.

We had a good year of gardening and a better yield. We started very late as my project in Houston delayed our arrival to Wisconsin.

We've had just wonderful 70 degree days for a week now. It has enabled me to finish up the tasks I've delayed. Two left do and I'll knock them out today - Then get serious about deer hunting.

It will be interesting to see how the markets take the election delay.

Bob
