A friend has graduated to Mavericks on his wing foil.... At the end he shows a map of his day and how he got out from where "we" launch for windsurfing and worked his way over to Mavs... I haven't sailed there in ages... got tired of being so cold before and after sailing... and lots of skunks with wind too inconsistent, but these wings have a ton of range and if the wind dies, they can use the boards to paddle safely back to land (as long as a sneaker doesn't destroy them at Mavs) Once I windsurfed in the safety of that jetty and it sounded like bombs were going off just over the breakwater...
