Marshall, very interesting story there. Thank you kindly. At this point I think decisions are going to start being difficult for those who bailed at low prices. What if Drakes and Teams repeated protestations to the contrary notwithstanding the downturn was mostly the result of the scare tactics of some at a time of (perhaps inevitable) delay and nothing to do with the potential market? It would not feel good to be have been shaken out if that is the case.

For those who think that the internet is a threat to BT I would suggest they consider if it is not at all possible that isps are potential users. But that will only come later. When isps upgrade their equipment in order to more effectively compete with RBOCs. In the meantime there will be no exodus. The point made by BB in those articles is that traffic issues will not be resolved yet because resolution will require isp infrastructure.
