As offered for a long time, I've asked Kirk to visit Texas and find out where reasonable living actually does exist.

I've heard the bit about turning a blue state red for about 4 years.

People find Texans very proud of their heritage.

It is contagious.

It is spacious.

It is warm.

Both fossil fuels and electricity are low cost compared to most.

There are no income taxes. Industry s flooding to Texas and housing although low cost is nicely advancing.

When a new neighbor moves to my community from the west or east coast, they usually buy the bigger homes on the water and proceed to gut the already very nice interior. Redoing all of the house in new colors fabrics, counter tops and cabinets, because they have so much money left over from their past home.

IT AIN"T ALL BAD!

Lots are bigger such that you can have flower and vegetable gardens and even afford to water them<smile>
