I submit, however, that women (in general, not you) are more easily
conned than men by men of Mr. Clinton's type.
But what type is he? He's not a charming sleazebag. Sleazy charmers often do have good fortune with women, largely because so the other guys we date are often jerks who don't bother to be charming. The CS can be fun, actually, as long as you understand what you're dealing with, and at least he DOES always remember your birthday.
As noted, I've never met Bill, and so don't know whether I'd be attracted to him or not. But women didn't vote for him because he's cute. They had other reasons, among them his support of their own causes. He does seem--not surprisingly, given his position--to have appeal for the kind of woman who's either in the business of collecting scalps or of profiting by a relationship, real or alleged.
And of course, if half the rumors are true, he does seem to have an unfortunate weakness for just this kind of chick. |
