Clinton is practising the "rope-a-dope" strategy here -- take a few hits even while evading the most serious ones, launch a few calculated jabs back at the opponents so that they get the message that he is still a force to be reckoned with, and keep at it just long enough to tire them out. He will not go for the kill here but instead will keep the ball in play until his opponents crumble under the weight of their own contradictions, which is bound to happen sooner or later. As far as this thread goes, things will drag for a while, and eventually we will be left with a few jokers desperately trying to get a part-time job at the local comedy club. Dipy.
