Heard tonight on MSNBC that ML's attorney has, in effect, shown that Tripp is telling the truth. Ginsburg, in lawyer talk, said that Tripp wasn't privy to the conversations. What he meant is that she didn't hear the president's end of the conversation, just Monica end. Monica, after hanging up, told Tripp what the Pres. said. I don't understand why it's so hard for you and others to see this. Why? Because Tripp's own lawyer has said that she "recognized the President's voice". Unless she was listening in on an extension--awakened and alert at 2 a.m.--this is scarcely credible. True: Tripp's account, and her lawyer's, is a bit confused: see search.washingtonpost.com
