Hi, Pete!!! Thought I would drop by on a weekend when the commentary over here is somewhat civilized. Aren't Jack Clarke's posts thoughtful?

Incidentally, how is your child? I, too, was lurking last night for the countdown, but didn't want to spoil your fun. I assume no serious injuries?

I am trying to catch the Sunday morning talk shows and flip pancakes and type at the same time. It looks like the Republicans are making the rounds trying to keep the short attention span of the American public focused on the problems in Washington, and defending Kenneth Starr and his investigation. Their main concern seems to be that since Clinton seems to have pulled one off, he has the confidence to just ignore any further queries into his allegedly nefarious activities.
