Caviar is sturgeon eggs. It is an "acquired taste" much like raw oysters. I like them because I love salt and am part French where we can eat anything to rival the Chinese. But the idea of eating salmon eggs, after years of using them to catch trout, make me vomit because of the smell to preserve them for fishing. I have had salmon eggs at sushi restaurants and enjoyed them.

I posted pictures of the take out meal our French ancestry club did this weekend to support the Basque Cultural Center on my FB page... one of the items was a lunch's worth of "tripe stew." I ate one yesterday for lunch and had Emily's today... despite being Chinese, she has all her excuses to not give it a try.
