Mark, why do we think our justification for commiting murder is some how, loftier than their's? I cannot help wondering how a country that preaches to their people , Thou shall not kill, is so prepared to go to war and kill, and then act with amazement when one of their own do it. It's like smoking in front of my kids, and then acting with anger and self rightesnous when they do. IMHO the death penalty is sraight up revenge, which IMHO leaves one empty at best.As long as our illustrious leaders are prepared to kill , usually with paid mercenaries, .. I can't count the number of people who say, (about Iraq) , they're gonna get it, Nuke em, and other such talk..I don't think they think of what they speak. IMHO, it's downright blood thirsty, and reveals a sick, pent up dissatisfaction with our materialistic society which should be investigated. The feelings that is. Why such unthought out hate for a people we know nought of? I apologise for such long windedness, , here goes,SUBMIT russell |
