That is precisely correct, a 0.2% fee S&P fund will beat 80 percent of the fund managers over 10 years (give or take).

Somebody around here says being a bear is easy, being a bull is hard. Nothing could be further from the truth. I've some work friends who actually spend more time thinking about breathing when they are sleeping then being a "bull" and they have done better than 80+ percent of the money managers out there. In other words, being a bull is incredibly easy. Just dollar cost average away for years, which is what they've done. They literally do not think about it at all.
