With all due respect, anybody who put their entire life savings into a stock as risky as Data Race was asking for trouble. What really made me nervous the more I learned about this stock was how seldom I heard the word RISK mentioned. I learned a lesson from this stock, and now I am back to my normal conservative style of investing. I think Ben Graham said it best - the first rule of making money is not to lose it.

And, yes, I have taken stocks down to zero too - but as part of a somewhat diversified portfolio.
