Perhaps on the day after Ms. Lewinsky is on tape saying she would not lie, unless she got a job, made Mr. Jordan feel that a bit more influence should be exerted....
Now, now, she is alleged to have said that on tape. None of us has heard them, nor have we seen transcripts.
She said a lotta things on tape, apparently: that she kept the infamous navy whatever because it had Souvenir Stains, for example. Should we believe her? Why?
And let's consider this: given Clinton's reputation, she was a danger, coming on to him, telling people they were "fuck-buddies". ANYONE woulda wanted her outta there. But how to arrange it? Wouldn't have looked good for him to attack an "innocent young girl", claiming that she was telling lies about him, eh?
