At Costco this AM I'd say 95% or more were masked, including myself in my N95. I debated leaving it in the car but decided it didn't cost me anything to use it and it is good protection for me from any variants that might get by unmasked, unvaccinated shoppers that MIGHT cause another surge if this "experiment" doesn't pan out.
I asked the checker and she said she only saw 4 people so far without masks.
Since our governor is facing a recall soon, "Nobody" trusts the change wasn't political I suppose especially when masks are still required in hospitals, dental offices, schools, public transit, etc...
FWIW, we're fully vaccinated and I've eaten indoors with proper social distancing 3x and felt comfortable but I'm not in a big hurry to go into a packed restaurant or a store with strangers without a mask... If the numbers keep falling 3 weeks from now, THEN I'll be more comfortable.
I started wearing a vented N95 for shopping weeks BEFORE the shutdown and months before Fauci and other "experts" changed their minds to masks help... So, I'm not a fan of mask for comfort and flirting with checkers, but a few more weeks to see if the case numbers keep falling is no big deal for me.
Outdoors, I'm pretty much back to normal without masks windsurfing, hiking, eating on a favorite restaurant's patio (that they had decades before the pandemic) and hugging friends who are vaccinated.
