Paul, It certainly looks like the market is waking up to what you guys have known all along about the ECM sector. I took a big position in this sector on margin believing the perspective I was finding on this thread and was feeling pretty insecure for many weeks. Now I'm above my previous portfolio high recorded on Oct.23. Many thanks to all of you regulars for your great research and insights.

Ironically, the stock that I turned up first in this sector, which led me to all the rest, is IECE and it is still well below my purchase price. Although their sales and earnings were up nicely in the latest report, they have hemorrhaged cash and it has dropped from $2.066 mill at year end 1996 to $146,000 on Dec.31, 1997. Would this company be a likely take over candidate as the sector consolidates and based on your observations of other takeovers in the sector, what would be a likely valuation for IECE? Should I hang on for a possible buyout or cut my losses?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Bob
