I didn't say he was being easier on China, he was using a different approach that from my experience dealing with ethnic Chinese in Singapore, should have a better chance of success. That is "speak softly and carry a big stick" approach rather than Trump's brash, no win-win, our way or the highway, approach. Biden's support to bring US chip manufacturing from Taiwan WITH MONEY to the US has "Western Taiwan" and its leader, Xi, worried.
