Google just took over top spot in my portfolio from Amazon.
I made a concerted effort to base my portfolio around dividend paying stocks, and just live off the dividends. I started putting some leftover money into "fun" growth stocks like Google, and Apple, and Amazon, and Facebook. That was 8 or 10 years ago. They grew and grew, my highest income stocks cut their dividends or changed their structure, so now I'm a momentum investor in spite of my best efforts.
