Not the talking points paper with potential fingerprints, or the materials recovered from the couple's safe deposit box in Oregon. Starr has had this all along. Monica's attorney is a joke, trying to play hardball with the feds in the 'court' of public opinion. How he missed these possibilities I don't know, and why he counseled her to not take the initial offer of immunity is even more amazing. He seems to have thought that he was negotiating from a position of strength, without even considering what the other side might have. If he had been reading this thread he would have known better and perhaps changed his negotiating tactics. Now she is looking at hard time. If she's smart, she'll retain another attorney and sue this guy for malpractice. His hubris was incredible. At least when she gets out of the joint she'll have a wad of cash from winning that suit, since I doubt the feds are going to let her profit from the story. He was in way over his head from the getgo. Hey, at least he got his 15 minutes of fame, at the expense of his client.

Now it appears the battle will be fought for public opinion as to whether slicky boy is going to step down, since his popularity seems to be so high (for reasons that escape me). I'm afraid it is going to be really divisive for the country, thanks to Carville and the like. The dialog on this thread is just an example. Many people just don't seem to care about facts or are willing to overlook them with this guy. Good luck to us all.
